CIC 2023 – Fire Safety & ISM Code Checklist from Panama

To determine the level of compliance with the FIRE SAFETY and ISM and prepare the ships for the Port State Control Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC), the Panama Maritime Authority developed the 2023 ASI CIC Checklist, to be completed by the ASI Inspectors.

The CIC will be held from 1 September until 30 November 2023, but the PMA will start the use of this checklist from 1 March until 31 August 2023 in all ASI inspections on Panamanian ships.

2023 ASI CIC Checklist is available in the PMA ASI Platform, and it use is mandatory for all the ASI inspectors from such dates.  Copy of the checklist is available for owners’ reference to improve the planning maintenance and ensure the safe operation of ships
