Provisions that regulate the PDE services

The Panama Maritime Authority issued the Circular No. DGGM-052 to inform users of the Panamanian Registry about the provisions that regulates the Previous Documentary Evaluation service (PDE) applicable to rating personnel, nationals from the Republic of India, the Republic of Philippines, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Republic of Indonesia, who work or wish to work on board Panamanian Flag vessels.

PDE services will be applied as per the requirements ot the Resolution ADM No. 077-2024.

Implications

From 28 October 2024, all the request of licenses for rating personnel national from Myanmar, shall present the PDE as established in the Circular No. DGGM-052.
