Processing Certificate of Endorsement (CT) under Panama Flag

The Panama Maritime Authority issued the Note No. DGGM-TIT-339-2022 with the purpose to communicate the temporary measure that will be applied for the Processing Certificate of Endorsement (CT).

As per the STCW Convention 1978, as amended (Regulation I/10), the CT is valid for a period of three (3) months.  The PMA temporary measure will be for the Processing Certificate of Endorsement (CT) with expiration date from December 2022, extending the validity for one (1) month from the expiration date.

To avoid any problem with PSC authorities, the Note No. DGGM-TIT-339-2022 shall be shown together with the following supporting documentation:

• Processing CT
• Valid certificate of competency form home country
• any other Certificate of Proficiency required for the position (if applicable).
