Refresher courses for Officers and Ratings

The Panama Maritime Authority authorized to MTCC and its Branches for the refresher courses for officers and ratings as regulated in the Resolution ADM No. 175-2021.

Are authorized to provide refresher course to:

• those officers and rating interested in embarking again after being on land for five (5) years or more and cannot demonstrate the continuity of professional competency as per Rule I/11 of the Convention STCW, 1978 as amended and the Section A-I/11 of the Training Code.
• A person that needs to revalidate a proficiency certificate or documentary proof with the DGGM, whenever applicable.
